Privacy and Credit Reporting Policy
We respect the privacy of any personal or sensitive information we hold. This is explained in our Privacy and Credit Reporting Policy. We manage your personal or sensitive information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the associated Australian Privacy Principles, as well as the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code. Our Privacy and Credit Reporting Policy also reflects guidance from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in respect of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Privacy Collection Statement
We may collect personal information about you either directly from you or from a third party, for the purposes explained in our Privacy and Credit Reporting Policy. This includes how we may disclose your personal information, how you may access your personal information held by us, overseas disclosure of personal information and our complaints procedure. Any information we collect is subject to the Freedom of Information Act 1982.
Privacy Impact Assessment register
The CEFC is required to keep a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) register under Section 15 of the Australian Government Agencies Privacy Code with respect to ‘high privacy risk projects’.
