Electrifying the Pilbara
The Common user transmission and decarbonising Pilbara energy demand reportcompares the construction and economic impacts of the common user transmission infrastructure approach with the existing “go-it-alone” model.
The CEFC Rewiring the Nation Fund team members and Marinus Link CEO Stephanie McGregor discuss why investment in major grid and transmission infrastructure projects is vital to Australia’s clean energy transition in this Green Room webinar session.
North West Transmission Developments project backs Australia's clean energy grid
The CEFC finance is fundamental to delivering this infrastructure in a way that would not have been possible through commercial financing alone. Their investment provides a prudent funding structure that supports long term network investment in the state while protecting customers from increased cost pressures.
Central-West Orana REZ to play critical role in NSW energy transformation
The CEFC is backing the development of the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone to support the grid connection of 7.7 GW of renewable energy – a critical step in Australia’s transition to net zero emissions.
Visionary Marinus Link to help deliver Australia's clean energy grid
With its capacity to distribute Australia’s abundant renewable energy resources to where they are needed, Marinus Link is truly a vital part of Australia’s clean energy infrastructure of the 21st century.
Up to $1.92 billion in CEFC finance for HumeLink, linking the Greater Sydney electricity load centre with the Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme, Energy Connect in south-west NSW and the NSW element of VNI West.
AEMO develops VNI West to secure Australia’s energy supply
With this investment the CEFC is supporting the delivery of an actionable ISP project, which will have flow on benefits across the network, for Australia’s clean energy transition and for energy users.
